Still looking for help but not getting anywhere

This blog is for those looking for advice to do with mental health issues.

For somebody thats dealing with mental health or other personal issues life can get near impossible to cope with, if you have damaged confidence and get anxiety your stomach feels like its turned inside out 24/7, in turn this makes you not want to eat or they call it feeling full if you dont eat anything, along with the problems of getting to sleep you wake up tired with no energy and in a mood so this effects your mental health worse and problems cycle out of control, you stop taking care of yourself, your health starts to get effected and your relationship begins to break down, this is why understanding the struggle is part of the recovery process, trying to understand whats wrong is what leads us to try and find help, many people that begin to feel there mental health starting to go downhill instantly will feel the need to speak to somebody, this is what makes people look at us as lazy, unwilling and emotionaonal etc, etc and in turn this makes the situation worse for people with personal issues globally, when people dont notice that we are honestly suffering with not normal feelings that in our heads makes us want to find help, at the start of our individual journeys to find help everybody currently suffering wirh mental health wants better for themself, we are willing to work hard and in most cases we could be great people, some of us have better ideas, some of us are stronger emotionally and some of us are better at thinking, it doent matter whats wrong we all can do better than the average person with the believes that going to the doctors will take 5 minutes and everything will be better but you come out with little advice and the problem begins here this because after going to the doctors and walking out feeling the same, we now have medication to try and fix the problem, so were at home reading these instructions still stuck with the same problem and we take the tablets let it take effect and we wake up the next day, everything feels a bit diffrent but you still have these issues going on inside, you have been dealing with these issues for how long and you go to get help, the problem is sill there but something is altering the way you think about and remeber the problem i.e medication, you see they are turning many vulnerable people back home for 30 days with tablets to self medicate and they expect you to go back and say thing have improved, you’ve just been left to your own devices out of your brains for the past 30 days so it’s not any wonder why 90% of the people ask for more drugs, but the other 10% of us know proper help is out there and we know it that’s why we carry on and don’t commit suicide but sometimes because you have been trying for so long it just makes you feel like giving up and this is another reason why people don’t see the problem they just think you are a jobless problem but this they dont look around and see that we are people that want to be getting along with our lives because you know that you are capable of being the ordinary person and more but you just don’t understand why not, the truth is this, people dont care about your feelings and we get anxious, a lot, and at those times when we get a chance to say how we feel we don’t because of that anxiety, so we stand around people listening to there jokes and stories etc and we laugh but inside we are screaming out for help, for instance imagine being angry and you throw something at the wall, now imagine being angry but not being allowed to express your emotions, the expression on your face would let somebody know that you are angry, this is were it gets diffrent when somebody has anxiety, we don’t show our emotions like an angry person, we want to be angry sometimes, we always want to be happy, sometimes we feel sad, other times we know the answer or know how to do something better but we dont show it, the difference between the person that you can see getting angry and a person with anxiety is that the person with anxiety struggles to show there emotion because of the feeling they have so when you see the angry persons face you know they are angry but when you see the anxious person they just smile even if they are sad or feel like crying, this is why inside a person with mental health is screaming inside there head for help.

with this knowledge we can start to change people’s perception of those that don’t understand mental health, also we can help ourselves by understanding why it’s so hard to get help, the problem we suffer is with most is confidence and people don’t realise this so we can either keep asking and searching for help we are never going to get or we can focus on our confidence, either way we need to do something otherwise people’s perceptions towards those with mental health will never change and those who need urgent help will continue to suffer, I tried to keep this short and sweet for those that struggle to focus but I’m sure many of you have found the will to keep reading as this is so important for the future of mental health globally so well done for getting this far.
